Testimonials

“Our basement was no longer meeting the needs of a growing family. We needed a multifunctional space for work, play and entertainment. Jules Conte and his team of professionals transformed our basement into an inviting environment that our family makes full use of. The renovations were completed on time and to our specifications. The JC Colonial team kept us informed every step of the way and did their best to minimize disruptions in our daily routine. I can’t wait to install my plasma screen!”

"We hired J.C. Colonial to do our first Toronto location. The job was pretty extensive with the gutting of an old storefront building on Mt. Pleasant, putting on a two storey addition and rebuilding it structurally and replacing all heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems. They also coordinated most of our tenant improvements for our private dining room and cooking studio. Their integrated approach to coordinating the various trades and components was fundamental to our hitting the timing and budget we had set."

"As a small residential and commercial real estate investment investor our companies purchase and renovate historic apartment buildings and commercial properties. Jules and his team have orchestrated the full renovation of two historic apartment buildings and the partial renovation of a commercial building for us. Working with historic buildings always involves unforeseen issues and problems and Jules was terrific at both making cost effective recommendations and working within our budget and with our goals in mind, to find solutions. Both apartment buildings were partially tenanted at the time, and the crew was always courteous and respectful of the tenants. The follow up with corrections, and adjustments was also professional. I would recommend them for any job."

"Our partnership owns an historic concert hall and event theater with several different storeys and tenancies. J.C. Colonial was hired to create a sound separation between the main two storeys concert hall and the two storey live theater venue below, and to renovate the theater venue. The sound separation of the two uses was a fairly complex undertaking and one many construction teams would not take on. The project was completed on time and on budget and the theater user and the ownership group were pleased with the results."
